Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP)
ISTDP is a unique form of psychodynamic treatment that brings about a rapid reduction in emotional symptoms and is specifically designed to resolve anxiety, depression, somatization, and personality disorders, as well as alleviate a variety of self-defeating behaviours.
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Assessment
ASD is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects one's ability to learn and interact with others. Our team is trained to use the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2), an empirically validated ASD assessment tool. Following best practice, we use the ADOS-2 in conjunction with other assessment measures to diagnose ASD across the lifespan from ages three years to adulthood.
To meet the growing demand for ASD assessments, we are now accepting new referrals. Our office efficiencies and collaborative approach mean our team completes assessments within weeks of receiving a referral instead of remaining on a waitlist of several years.

Psychoeducational Assessment
Psychoeducational assessments offer a comprehensive profile of an individual's academic, cognitive, and social development relative to same-aged peers. Such evaluations serve to identify neurodevelopmental disorders, such as ADHD, specific learning disabilities (e.g., dyslexia), and intellectual disabilities.
This information is then used to inform recommendations in both an educational and personal setting.
Medically Unexplained Symptoms
Some individuals experience symptoms such as back and muscle pain, tiredness, numbness, heart palpitations, dizziness, or stomach problems that, despite numerous medical investigations, go undiagnosed, sometimes for years. Treating the psychological component can therefore treat the physical responses.

Dissociative Seizures
Those experiencing dissociative seizures may have dealt with them for years without having ever known. It is estimated that psychogenic non-epileptic seizures (PNES) are diagnosed in 20 to 30% of patients seen for epilepsy. Psychological treatment can eliminate or reduce the frequency and severity of PNES.
